Call For Abstracts
Interested in being a speaker? Submit an abstract before the March 16th deadline. Details can be found here. Authors will be notified of acceptance in early April 2012. Questions can be directed to Meetings Northwest at 866-633-8110.

Authors can submit their abstracts online by clicking here.
Email Submittal
Authors can also submit their abstracts via email to info@nritsconference.org. Emails must include all of the following elements:
- Abstract title
- Lead author contact information (name, organization, address, phone number, fax number, and email address)
- Supporting author(s) name(s) and email addresses, if any
- Topic area
- Abstract text (300 word maximum)
Abstracts are encouraged to fall into one of the following topic areas related to Rural ITS, but abstracts outside these areas will also be considered:

- Commercial Vehicle and Freight Mobility
- Communications in Rural Areas
- Connected Vehicle Initiative
- Emergency Management & Medical Service Coordination
- Incident Management Practices for Rural Areas
- ITS Financing
- ITS Planning, Architecture, and Sustainability
- Multi-agency Coordination & Innovative Public Private Partnerships
- Powering Your Rural ITS Devices
- Road and Weather Information Systems
- Rural ITS Safety Initiatives
- Rural TMC Operations
- Rural Transit and Paratransit
- Special Technology Applications (i.e., for elderly, schools, Native American populations, etc.)
- Technology Evaluation
- Wildlife Detection
